Report Writing

Today's Law Enforcement spends endless time and labor creating mountains of paperwork to protect themselves and their community. Often, the data captured in the paperwork is repeated over several forms and is labor intensive to compile. The Revolution™ program simplifies report writing, saves time and money.

Prints reports in your current report format. We reconstruct your current report form inside our software. This allows us to make quick and easy modifications as requested by your agency.

Reduces report writing time by simplifying data input and eliminating repetitive data entry. We created each window in a graphical user interface by using three dimensional picture icons, click buttons, pop-up menus, and list fields. Once data is entered in one area of the report, the data is automatically transferred to other forms requesting the same data. In addition, fields requiring a specialized format is automatically completed by the software. For example, "Social Security" fields can be entered as 123456789. The software will automatically format the field as 123-45-6789.

Online transmission of reports to the Department. With the proper hardware and communication software, reports are automatically transmitted from the patrol car directly to the department server. Printing and filing reports is obsolete. Reports are immediately accessible to supervisors and other members of the department. Satellite and Packet data communications are two ways we make mobile networking possible.

Records management and searching tools. Data from each report is stored in several files, (Persons File, Vehicle File, Stolen Property File, Booking File, etc.) The Revolution™ Provides several key fields from each file for the search and retrieval of desired data. For example, Address History, Known Associates, Vehicle History, and Person's History can easily be searched.

Automatic report routing. The Revolution™ is designed to automatically rout reports to the appropriate division of your department. Each section within a department can easily access their routed reports after logging onto the program. Labor and lag time is significantly reduced in report routing.

Finalizing reports. Once a report has been approved by a supervisor and double checked by records, the report can be finalized to prevent further changes. This benefit was designed to safeguard the integrity of your reports for court purposes.

Automatic Booking. Booking information is entered at the same time the report is created.

Person's File, Cross Checking. When entering a person in a report, the Revolution™ will pop-up a search window to check for prior indexing of the person. You can search by Last Name, Last Name/First Name & DOB, Drivers License, and Social Security. Selecting the correct person from a list will automatically transfer their information into the report. This significantly speeds up data entry.
